Type Locality and Naming
The Jabal Zelten Gr is made up of the lower Zelten Fm and (Zelten Limestone Fm) and the upper Harash Fm.
Synonym: Also known as Zenten Group, Zelten Gr

Lithology and Thickness
The Zelten Fm is composed predominantly of limestones and is about 101m thick, which transitions upwards into the Harash Fm of intercalations of shale and limestone (Fig. 7 of Ahlbrandt, 2001).

Lower contact
It conformably overlies the Khalifa Fm.

It conformably overlain by the Kheir Fm.
